I want to learn How to make $30,000 a month?

That number may sound huge (after all!). I felt the same way a few years ago when I was trying to make an extra $100 a month. But over time I learned how to build different income streams and eventually started making over $30,000 a month. And it completely changed my life.

Many of the ideas below are those that start from the side as extra income, grow from home, and fit your schedule. They can become more passive, some are active, some even turn into business.

The best way to make $30,000 a month

Here’s the best way to make $30,000 a month:

1. I’m starting a blog

The blog was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and yes, it helped me make over $30,000 a month over the years.

I began to understand cents over 10 years ago while paying off my student loans. I didn’t think it would become a business (I didn’t think I would become a full-time blogger), but I’m here!

You can make money through affiliate marketing, sponsored content, advertising, and your own products (such as course sales and t-shirts). My favorite thing is that I can create my own schedule (I work all the time), and it doesn’t cost much money to get started.

Initially, I wrote about my budget, side hustle and debt rewards. Over time, as my audience grew, so did my income.

And there are many different blog niches that you can write like this:

  • Personal Finance
  • Health and Wellness
  • trip
  • Food and cooking
  • Family and child-rearing
  • Fashion and beauty

And more.

I even have a free course that shows you how to start your own blog. Over 80,000 people are robbing it! You can sign up by clicking here.

2. Create and sell online courses

If people are constantly asking how to do something, whether it’s budgeting, cooking, painting, building a business, or anything else, you can turn it into a course.

I made over $2,000,000 from one of the online courses I created about affiliate marketing. With courses you can help others while earning a half-earning income. This means that once the course is created, it can be sold again and again.

Course platforms like Teachable make it easy to host and sell courses. Whether you teach people how to knit, plan a meal or start a side hustle, there’s probably an audience for it.

3. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is one of my favorite revenue streams as it allows you to have a very flexible schedule and can become semi-passive over time.

Affiliate marketing is when you earn a commission when you buy someone through an affiliate link like something on Amazon or book a vacation. This can be done via blogs, email newsletters, or via social media. I personally make millions through affiliate marketing, which I recommend to bloggers, influencers and email marketers.

You can promote courses, financial products, clothing, home decorations, apps, cooking utensils and more.

A duplex house with greenwood vinyl siding in Carlsbad, San Diego, California. There is a white garage door with a concrete driveway near the plants in front. How to make $30,000 a month with real estate

4. real estate

You don’t need to own a large real estate portfolio to get started. From renting a spare room to listing your RVs on RVShare, to converting your basement or attic into an Airbnb, there are many ways to make money through real estate.

Some people also rent a pool, driveway or backyard for parties and events. Others turn over your home or wholesale items. You can also become a real estate agent or invest in REITs to increase your income.

I know many people who have been very lucky with real estate and have tried all of the above options I mentioned. If that’s what you’re interested in, I definitely recommend learning more with 23 best real estate side fuss to make extra money.

5. Items will be sold on Amazon

With Amazon FBA, you purchase an item (or source it through the manufacturer) and send it to Amazon and process the rest. After sending it to Amazon, you don’t have to pack or ship anything yourself. Amazon handles all of that.

People who flip clearance items from stores like Walmart and sell them for commercial purposes (also known as retail arbitrage), others create their own product lines and items from the White World.

6. Business cleaning

Run your cleaning business without any actual cleaning. As an owner, you find clients, schedule jobs, hire cleaners to do the job.

It’s like a behind-the-scenes business manager. Many people don’t know that they can run their local cleaning business completely remotely. You don’t even have to live in the same city.

With excellent customer service, marketing and system, some owners earn more than six figures each year.

7. YouTube Channel

You don’t need 1 million subscribers to make money on YouTube. I personally know a few creators who make at least $30,000 a month from videos with advertising, sponsorships, affiliate links and product sales (such as clothing).

YouTube is great. Because your content can continue to work for you ever since you posted it. One video allows you to make money for months or years.

Popular channel ideas include personal funding, cleaning, minimalism, travel and cooking.

8. Build a digital product empire

Digital products can be sold over and over again, including templates, printables, e-books, planners, guides, and even stock photo memberships.

I know a seller who makes thousands of monthly from some digital files. Once the product is created, the profit margin is very high and there is no need to worry about inventory or delivery.

You can sell it on your own site or on platforms like Etsy, Gumroad, Shopify and more. This is a great way to build passive income over time.

9. Selling subscription boxes

Subscription Box is a fun and scalable business. Send themed boxes to customers monthly or quarterly. I’ve seen building a subscription box business around everything from self-care and snacks to pet toys and books. I recently came across a very popular box for toddler crafts and thought it was a great idea too!

To make $30,000 a month using a subscription box, people will want to think about what they want to get on a regular basis. After all, a $30,000 subscription box means you’ll need at least 600 customers each month. And it doesn’t take into account your costs of what you’ll be boxed.

I recommend reading: How you made over $1,000,000 in your subscription box business

10. Manage Facebook ads for small and medium-sized businesses

Running advertising is a skill that small business owners willing to pay for. Many people don’t have the time to learn it on their own, so they hire someone.

You can manage advertising for businesses such as gyms, salons, real estate agents, restaurants and more.

Clients paying between $1,000 and $2,000 per month can each sum up quickly. And if you want to have ads that manage ads for businesses at $30,000 a month, you might need at least 15 clients.

11. Start a service-based business agency

I know many people who started solo as freelancers and were incorporated into full agency. Some service ideas include:

  • Website design
  • graphic design
  • bookkeeping
  • Marketing such as social media marketing management
  • Facebook Ads
  • Virtual Assist

First, you’re looking for upwork or Fiverr jobs, from selling services to bloggers, small businesses or online entrepreneurs to reach out to them through their website. Then, as your client base grows, you can hire subcontractors and increase the amount of clients you can help.

12. Start an e-commerce store

Starting an online store is a good way to achieve your $30,000 goal, with many successful stores starting at the bare minimum.

Here are some ideas for ecommerce stores:

  • Baby and Toddler Items – Swaddles, Teeth, Lunch Boxes, etc.
  • Pet Items – Cute Collars, Leafs, Toys, Custom Pet Tags
  • Personalized Gifts – Puzzles, pet portraits, milestone baby items, and more
  • Crafting Supplies – Thread, Paint Kit, Scrapbooking Tools
  • Minimalist Jewelry – lings, necklaces, earrings

And more! There are so many different items that can be specialised in e-commerce stores.

13. Doctor or surgeon

Yes, becoming a doctor or surgeon will require years of training, but certain medical specialties earn more than $30,000 a month. This list wanted to include some well-paid careers in this list.

Of course, this is not something you can start overnight. It takes years of schooling, training, and a lot of effort (and long hours). But if you’re already in the medical field or are thinking about going that route, it’s worth it.

14. Dentist or orthodontist

Dentists and orthodontists can earn a high income. Also, if you own your own practice or specialize in certain procedures (such as dental implants or cosmetic dentistry), you can make sure you earn $30,000 (or more) a month.

This job involves a major upfront investment, such as buying or starting a dental school, licensing, and perhaps your own practice.

15. Law firm partner

Being a law firm partner is a great way to earn a high income, with many partners bringing over $30,000 a month, especially at large companies.

Now this path usually requires years of experience, long hours and a lot of effort. However, if you enjoy and stick to it, it can lead to a very high-paying and stable career.

16. Home builder or contractor

Being a home builder or contractor is a great way to make $30,000 a month if you’re convenient, organized and enjoying managing your projects, especially if you run your own business.

Contractors can earn high income by undertaking new builds, modifications, or commercial projects. You can start small things by managing one or two jobs at a time and grow into managing subcontractors, multiple crews, or teams that turn the house upside down for profit.

17. Franchise Owner

Owning a franchise is a great way to make $30,000 a month and I met people who have built such a very successful business.

With franchises, you are buying into a business model that already works, such as a popular food chain, fitness studio or second-hand store. Get branding, systems and support. This helps you grow faster than starting something from scratch.

Of course, that’s what you need for a franchise, and the amount varies from franchise to franchise. In some cases, you can start for less than $50,000, while others may require more than $500,000 (plus monthly fee).

18. Combine multiple income streams

One of the most realistic ways to make $30,000 a month is to combine different income streams.

This is how I started and it helped me reach $30,000 a month of income! I made money at once from a few side hustles, including blogging, affiliate marketing, freelance writing, and VA work. Together, they totaled.

This might look like a $30,000/month mix to you:

  • $10,000 from real estate investment
  • $5,000 from affiliate revenue
  • $5,000 from the online course
  • $10,000 from the service business

Mixing income streams will help you protect yourself from the slow months of one region. It also helps you to figure out what you enjoy most, and then you can put more time into it and increase it (that’s what I did).
